Refund/Replacement Eligibility – TL;dr:
Some items in the Planet Bob Shop are not eligible for return, because they are unique, one-off items, produced through a Print-On-Demand (POD) process. In case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, we offer a refund or free reprint. See below for details.
At this time, all items available in the Planet Bob Shop are produced through Print-On-Demand.
Please note that all items offered that are not Print-On-Demand are non-returnable, including, but not limited to, personalized items.
1. Replacement/Refund Timeline
We offer a transparent and customer-friendly replacement/refund timeline. Requests for replacements or refunds on eligible items are accepted within 15 days from the date of delivery. We believe this timeframe strikes a balance between allowing you sufficient time to evaluate your purchase while also ensuring a fair policy for our business.
2. Returns: Acceptable Item Conditions
Note: At this time, there are no items in the Planet Bob Shop that are eligible for return. To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must not be produced through Print On Demand, and must be in its original condition, including all tags and packaging (if applicable). Please note that certain items may have specific conditions for return due to their nature, and these conditions will be clearly communicated on the product page.
3. Refunds/Replacements and Shipping Charges
We understand the importance of transparent and fair refund and shipping charges. We offer free shipping on reprinted items, which means you won’t have to worry about additional shipping costs when having a damaged item replaced.
For damaged products and manufacturing errors, we offer the following options:
- Replacement: We’ll replace the item with a reprint of the same item – including same color, size, etc. – subject to availability.
- Money Refund: We’ll return the cost of the item to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Line-Item Refund: For items that are part of a larger order, we may issue a refund for the specific item returned.
For an item delivered to you that was not the ordered item (wrong item shipped):
- Replacement: We’ll replace the item with a print of the correct item – including originally-ordered color, size, etc. – subject to availability.
4. Items Not Eligible for Refund/Replacement
While we strive to accommodate such requests, please note that not all items on our website are eligible for refund or replacement.
All of the items currently available in the Planet Bob Shop are produced by Printify, a Print-On-Demand company. This means that those products are unique and produced only once ordered. This also means that refunds and replacements are not supported if you ordered the wrong size, color, or have just changed your mind.
However, in case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, we offer a free reprint or a refund if you contact us within 15 days of product delivery. Please get in touch with our team using the Customer Service Form and provide a clear photo showing the issue.
If there’s an issue affecting multiple products that use the same design, an additional photo (or video) of all affected items visible in one frame will be required for confirmation purposes.
Please note that Bob West/Planet Bob and Printify will not be held responsible and will not offer reprints or refunds if the customer ordered the wrong size or color. In case of an unsuccessful delivery, you can opt for either a reprint with an extra charge or a partial refund. For Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printed products, there is a tolerance of 0.5″ for print placement, meaning that minor variations in the placement of the print will not be considered as defects.
The following categories of products are generally not eligible for Refund/Replacement:
- Products with Expiration Dates: Items with a limited shelf life or an expiration date.
- Hygiene-Sensitive Products: Items that come into direct contact with the body, such as used underwear, earrings, or makeup.
- Custom/Personalized Products: Items that have been specifically customized or personalized for the customer.
- Products Sold as Part of Sets/Bundles: Items sold as part of a set or bundle, where individual items may not be eligible for exchange.
- Undamaged Print-On-Demand Items: POD items are not eligible for return if they were mistakenly ordered (wrong color, size, or style), or if the customer has changed their mind. Only damaged items or items with manufacturing errors are eligible for replacement (reprint) or full item refund. Failed-delivery items are only eligible for reprint – with an additional charge – or refund.
